Please bring food and drinks and plates and utensils to share since it is a potluck, guys! We also want good behavior, and we do not want to make a mess of Mr. Benjamin's space! We should have trash bags just in case!

Hello, everyone! This is the president of Anime Club here to inform you guys about CLUB RUSH!!! WOW!!! ...And some other things about September.
Club rush will be on September 9, so please come and visit our stand! Just look for the visible Anime Club poster, some cultural items on the table, and perhaps a dance show. There will be a sign-up sheet, so if you have any friends who have never been in the Anime Club, please have them write their name to indicate interest in the club~! Our first official club meeting is presumed to be on September 18. I will NOT reveal the room that Anime Club will be in until club rush, so stay tuned! There will be introductions along with a period of questions from the clubbies. We have an FAQ on the website, so make sure you guys don't ask any trivial questions. - Braden Lem Hello, everyone! This is the new president of Anime Club for 2015-2016 writing. This blog post will provide a brief summary of the edits made to this website and what new things one can find while browsing through our website. Let's take a look at what is now being integrated into the website of Savanna High School's Anime Club...
Basic Layout A lot of pages throughout the website have been altered so as to have a more uniform design. Dividers were added. Items were moved around to avoid wasting space. A lot of titles on certain pages are in all-caps so as to avoid being mixed up with the regular text. There are additionally some subtitles under those titles, describing some announcements for that specific page and its subject. Anime Club Products Due to a lack of a variety of products on our catalog, the Products page may need to be renovated. Unfortunately, whether or not new products can be introduced into the club is currently unknown. Kitty bells are still possibly being sold, so fill out the form, and hopefully, we might be able to have those immediately when school begins. Dance Crew Because dance crew has had a loss in popularity, dance crew and its relevant page on the website have been erased. The only dance-related events that will occur in Anime Club will possibly be dance shows and the International Assembly. We hope to have some club members participate in Anime Club's entry as Japan in the International Assembly 2015-2016. Club Meeting Agenda I hope to actually drop summaries as to what was discussed in each club meeting in this page. The Club Meeting Agenda page can be found in the Member Resources page, which is linked above in the main bar. Board Members Past board members have had their bios erased. There is now a small shout-out. Past board members are still welcome and may occasionally appear to help out the club with certain things. Also, some bios still need to be filled. Possibly due to a lack of communication, the bios will eventually be complete. That is all that I have to say about the new updates on the Savanna High School Anime Club website. More updates will be made as the school year begins and progresses, so I will drop more posts about the new updates to whatever has appeared. Anyone that is reading this (which may be 0), thank you for your time. - Braden Lem To kick off the 2015-2016 School Year, I've take the liberty of contacting Kennedy High school's
Anime club board and planning out a picnic. We will be discussing potential collaborations between our two clubs this upcoming year and just bonding as otaku's. The picnic will take place this Friday @ 4 at La Palma park near Kennedy High School. Be there or be, uhh. Well. Canada from Hetalia? 、お時間をどうもありがとう, Liam Lopez Alrighty guys, so with many of your beloved board members leaving. How about for our final potluck/movie day we arrange for it to be the best one it could possibly be?
Have it be the weeby-est event we have ever done! Filled with cosplay, great food food, good anime episodes, and possibly a small video game tournament? Friday, April 17 we will be hosting our final potluck and potluck. Please reserve the date and come enjoy Anime Club's final event. The only requirement for this event would be to bring food or contribute with money. We will have a sheet inside room 20 and available to you all during lunch until the fated day arrives. That would help us out a lot. We do not have a location set up yet, but it would most likely be our club room! :D Thanks for being a great group our final year! ;v; **Any further questions should be asked to any board members. Heyo! So just a little idea here if you guys would be interested. There is a convention held here in Anaheim called Anime California. They just started up last year and is fairly small and super friendly. Ticket prices have not been announced yet but last year the starting prices were 30 dollars. Pretty good. If enough people want to go then we can also make a little group and hang out. That is if you guys would like to go. There is an option of ghosting too, but that means you won't be able to go into the dealer's hall nor panels. Just hang out within the hotel or outside to the gatherings and such. Good luck! If you would be interested here is the link. http://animecalifornia.com/ READY FOR A FIELD TRIP? Well, we are. Last year we collaborated with Magnolia High School and were able to go to Little Tokyo as a school event. Unlike before, this event will be a social gathering for Anime Club members. This means that there will be no adult supervisors but a lot of rules. Even with this setback Kennedy High School's Anime Club President has presented us with an invitation to their event. Here are some details: Reserve your calendars for Saturday, March 28 from 9:00a.m. to about 5p.m. for the Little Tokyo Trip. Have to be at the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodel Center(ARTIC), Anaheim at 9:00a.m. with your student ID card for a ticket discount. Our train will leave the station at 9:21a.m. Tickets are about $15 for a roundtrip with a student discount. Our train will leave Little Tokyo at 5:10p.m. to ARTIC Station. Please Click For Directions to Station! In Little Tokyo, you will spend a lot of money. BE PREPARED! Anime merchandise isn't cheap and you also have to pay for your own food if you get hungry. We will go to two anime stores so spend your money wisely. There are also some other stores that you might want to spend your money in. There are no food courts in the area that we will be in but there are little food shops and restaurants. Questions? Rules: 1)You must have your own cellphone to go. Keep the sound on at all times so we may contact you. DO NOT share cellphones with other people in the group. If you get lost from everyone, you will not have a way of contacting anyone of us. 2)We must have your phone number so we can call or text you. Please indicate whether or not you can text. 3)Stay within the group or we will leave you behind. Don't lag behind or go ahead from the group. (This is because LA is a dangerous area and we will not run after you.) 4)No complaining. If you're going to complain, then you might as well stay home. 5)Cosplay is allowed on the trip. Since we're not at school, feel free to cosplay as you like. But this is LA, so be careful. In Little Tokyo, you will spend a lot of money. BE PREPARED! Anime merchandise isn't cheap and you also have to pay for your own food if you get hungry. We will go to two anime stores so spend your money wisely. There are also some stores that you might want to spend your money in. Some frequently asked questions: So those who don't have a cell phone cannot go? That is correct. If you do not have a cell phone you will not be able to attend.(Safety measure) Is $40-$50 recommended for this trip? And is lunch going to be like we stop at a food court and get whatever and then leave together? Regarding food, there are food places all around the area, but not a food court. Bring as much money as you're willing to spend Do we have to give you our phone numbers? Yes, if you do not then you cannot go. More details will be discussed later on, but until then please mark your calendars. Hiya! It's been a while since we have posted here, but yeah, we are here again. WELL GUYS, IT'S TIME FOR OUR FIRST U.A.C.A. EVENT OF THIS SCHOOL YEAR. Want to meet other people who also like anime? People that are not creepers(we hope lol) and are totally awesome? People from other schools? NOT ONLY THAT, but also enjoy a movie ALL AT THE SAME TIME? Then here is your chance! This Sunday, the 9th of November, Savanna High School's Anime Club will be hosting a movie gathering to watch Big Hero 6! Don't know what Big Hero 6 is? Check the video below! LOCATION: Krikorian Premier Theaters
(Need directions? No problem! Just click on this link *) TIME: 1:30p.m. (Please be there on time!) MEETING: We are meeting in front of the movie theatres. But please don't enter the theatre. PRICES:
That should be everything. School's that will most likely be joining us are Kennedy and Magnolia. :D If you wish to attend please let the President know by commenting either on this post or on our facebook page. Send us a message or email. Either works. **Bring extra money if you wish to buy snacks. Also, even though we are going as a group, you are to have transportation to and back. After the movie ends, your parent should be there to pick you up. We are not responsible for you after the movie ends nor before. If you are not present while we purchase and go into the theatres, we will NOT wait for you. Sorry, but that is just how it goes. **Be respectful and do not do anything stupid. This is a public place and club event. Do not do anything disrespectful. Respect us and the movie theatres. Thanks guys! Hope you guys can make it! >Helpful link to our fabulous Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/SavannaAnime and our Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/391853070903627/ Hello, everyone! -Braden =(^●ω●^)= Hello, everybody! This is Sensei here to remind you that for the entire month of May, we will be watching various anime shows in Room 20!
If you need to know what anime show our splendiferous president will present, stop by Room 20 and take a look at the anime list.
